A portion of the annual stewardship giving and special events fundraising is dedicated to support outreach ministries that vary based on the direction of the Missions Committee.
A combination of our congregation’s time, talents and treasures support various efforts.
Here are just some of the ministries that we support:
Collect food and stock shelves of local food pantry
Prepare and serve meals to neighbors in need
Support for local families needing housing/help
Youth centered work camp to help improve living conditions for people who can’t help themselves
Knit beautiful prayer shawls to be presented as God’s love and comfort to people in times of need
Providing financial support or gifts to families in need during the holiday season
Bring holiday cheer to those who may be shut in or might not otherwise feel it
Create and distribute reminders of caring for shut-ins within the community
Provide funds to this organization that fuels inclusion, voice and opportunity for all
Help with rebuilding Chilean church after earthquake destruction
Support for helping people learn to grow their own food
Working to end hunger and poverty around the world
Online loans program
Participation in a website program where purchases made accrue financial benefits to charitable organizations of our choice
