Ash Wednesday Service
Wed, Feb 18 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
5 Still River Rd, Harvard, MA 01451, USAThe season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday.
Lent is about fire.
About learning how to hold it.Fire warms and fire destroys.
Lent is the season where desire slows down long enough
to see what it’s actually burning for.Ash is not an ending or a failure.
It is what is left when we welcome who we are becoming.Fasting is not self-punishment.
It is clearing space so real hunger can speak. For forty days, the fire quiets, but does not weaken.
Less light. More heat.Resurrection does not come ex=nihilo...from nothing.
It comes when the fire finds what is worth burning.
